When Arnim Zola is seen gathering his papers during the evacuation of the HYDRA base in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger, one of the sheets he reaches for is a blueprint depicting an odd humanoid with a camera-like device for a head.
As a Swiss biochemist myself, trust me when I say that the research I’ve conducted has never been anywhere near this interesting. 😛
While the implications of this will go over the head of your average movie goer, this is, in fact, a reference to the genetically engineered body he ended up creating for himself in the mainstream Marvel Universe.
