The Lunar Archivist’s Sketchbook – Part 22
2015/05/27From Bad To Worse – Part 5
2015/02/16When your otherwise hostile and distant underage little sister confesses to you that she has an obsession with big brother/little sister incest porn computer games and you, as a big brother, agree to offer her life counseling and advice, you know that the first thing you need to do is have that talk with her.
Today’s life lesson has been brought to you by There’s No Way My Little Sister Can Be This Cute (俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない/Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai) – Episode 1: There’s No Way I Could Love My Sister (俺が妹と恋をするわけがない/Ore ga Imouto to Koi o Suru Wake ga Nai) (October 3, 2010).
“School Is Hell”, Says Dark Kingdom
2015/02/08Say what you want about Queen Beryl and Jadeite, but they seem to have a perfect grasp of the modern academic system.

See? Absolutely no one knows what the hell you’re supposed to do after graduating from college or university. 😛
Today’s evil social commentary has been brought you by Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン/Bishoujo Senshi Seeraa Muun) – Episode 8: The Girl Genius Is a Monster? The Brainwashing Cram School of Horror (天才少女は妖魔なの?恐怖の洗脳塾/Tensai shoujo wa youma na no? Kyoufu no sennoujuku) (May 2, 1992).
The Monster in the Mirror
2015/01/31Some people just aren’t cut out for the entertainment industry. 😦
This moment of (self-)reflection has been brought to you by Amagi Brilliant Park (甘城ブリリアントパーク/Amagi Buririanto Paaku) – Episode 9: Not Enough Pool Safety! (プールが危ない!/Puuru ga Abunai!) (November 13, 2014).
Subliminally Yours – Part 8: Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
2015/01/27I’m not sure what I find more disturbing: the lack of a jaw, kneecaps, and any discernible finger and toe bones or the fact that her pigtails have their own skeletal structure.

I’d go see a doctor about that if I were you. And get a few other things checked out while I was there as well.
Today’s gross anime anatomy course has been brought to you by Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン/Bishoujo Senshi Seeraa Muun) – Episode 1: The Crybaby Usagi’s Beautiful Transformation (泣き虫うさぎの華麗なる変身/Nakimushi Usagi no karei naru henshin) (March 7, 1992).
Channeling MacGyver – Part 2
2015/01/07Humanity will rue the day when Mother Nature decides to fight dirty.
This page from The Anarchist Cookbook has been brought to you by Amagi Brilliant Park (甘城ブリリアントパーク/Amagi Buririanto Paaku) – Episode 5: Not Enough Money! (お金が足りない!/Okane ga Tarinai!) (October 30, 2014).
The Lord Works In Mysterious Ways
2013/12/18In My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy (俺の脳内選択肢が、学園ラブコメを全力で邪魔している Ore no Nōnai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Rabu Kome o Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru), the “Flippant God” who contacts protagonist Kanade Amakusa uses a rather unusual iPhone caller ID photo.
While gods in this series seem more like caseworkers or tech support people than divine beings, they appear to have a sense of humor about their jobs (even if they aren’t very good at them) when you take into consideration where that image came from…
Costume Hijinks – Part 7
2013/08/12Medieval fantasy world heroine turned Japanese call center agent Emilia Justina, a.k.a. Emi Yusa, provides some valuable insight on the complex interrelationship between chest size, armor, economics, and battlefield strategy.
This invaluable information has been brought to you by Demon King at Work! – Episode 3: The Overlord Goes on a Date With His Junior in Shinjuku (はたらく魔王さま! 03: 魔王、新宿で後輩とデートする) (April 11, 2013).
Enemy at the Gate
2013/04/14When the forces of good are standing at the gate of the fortress of evil, it’s time to put up the defenses.
Today’s attempt at home invasion courtesy of Demon King at Work! – Episode 2: The Hero Puts Work First and Stays Over at Castle Overlord (はたらく魔王さま! 02: 勇者、仕事優先で魔王城に泊まる) (April 11, 2013).
